So, the mega-database didn’t quite go as planned! And that’s ok! In this video I went through why it didn’t work and then go through how to ‘close’ a database without deleting it, so that if you want it back again, it’s still there!
Because this merging of databases is so long and there are so many moving parts, I didn’t manage to get it all done in one stream. This is stream 2!
So, I had this great idea to move all my pages from goals, projects, areas AND dashboards into one MEGA database. This is the first instalment (probably of many!) of how to move database contents from one database to another, and still maintain all the relational links that you’ve spent months building up (which isn’t difficult, just fiddly!).
I always forget things that I’m supposed to remember when it comes to medical bits & pieces! I made this post & template to help me remember!
You can delete databases – honestly – if they’re not serving you – get rid of them!
Having a single database to collect all my external clippings as well as notes & post etc, works well for me
We all have our own reasons for moving to Notion, this is mine! I’ll be honest, it’s all August Bradley’s fault!
Time to thank the people who have helped you! Make a point of saying thank you!
Random things that I learned in 2020, some serious, some really not!!
Just a short post to say hi! Welcome to my little corner of the tinterwebs!
